Since 1913, San Diego State University's student newspaper has covered every on-campus landmark event while documenting the university’s news and history. Today, the Daily Aztec today consists of more than 100 staff members and is completely student-run.
The celebration of the Daily Aztec's centennial marks much more than 10 decades of reporting on the university. It also celebrates the rich history of SDSU.
Centennial celebrations will culminate in a gala event on May 13 at the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center.

The Mission Bay Aquatic Center has obtained platinum-level certification for its existing buildings. Platinum certification is the highest level sustainable building certification available -- and the first of its kind for an existing project in the city of San Diego.
Associated Students (AS) Vice President of Finance Eric Anderberg has been proactive during his senior year in lining up a great career upon graduation. Thanks to his involvement with both the College of Business and with SDSU’s Career Services, he’s off to a great start before the ink on his diploma is dry.
Eric, who graduates this month with a degree in Finance, said working with staff on campus was key in landing his new position with Federated Insurance. He begins a 9-month training program on June 17 in Minnesota.
