Are you short on time? Do you need one more unit? Maybe you are short on time, but as Thomas Edison said, “There is time for everything.” In just 2 days, you can earn the extra unit by taking a weekend course through SDSU’s College of Extended Studies. SDSU is now offering a number of 1-unit classes from which to choose.

SDSU's Entrepreneurial Management Center (EMC) gives students with "entrepreneurial spirits" the tools they need to succeed in today's competitive economy! Each semester, the EMC holds a contest for student entrepreneurs called the Lavin VentureStart Competition. Students have opportunities to polish entrepreneurial skills while networking and learning.

SDSU Alums Lead Mars Rover Mission

Mars mission

The Mars Science Laboratory team landed Mars Rover "Curiosity" on the planet in August. Among the team members are six SDSU alumni who play a variety of roles in the mission, from mechanical engineer to spacecraft navigator.

First Mariachi Ensemble Established

SDSU students have expressed interest in a mariachi program on campus, and several current students have what it takes to form the nucleus for this new ensemble. The SDSU School of Music and Dance presents the new SDSU Mariachi Ensemble, starting this fall.
