Support World AIDS Day on December 1
World AIDS Day is December 1. This global day of awareness gives people the opportunity to show support for those living with HIV and unite in the fight against HIV and AIDS. The day also serves to commemorate people who have died as a result of AIDS, which is caused by the HIV virus. In partnership with the One SDSU Community initiative, Student Life and Leadership and The Pride Center will host a campus movie screening of “The Normal Heart,” to help students understand the devastating impact of the disease. The film will be screened on December 1 from 5 to 8 pm in Montezuma Hall, where the AIDS Memorial Quilt will also be on display on December 1 and 2. [Photo courtesy of The NAMES Project Foundation]
