Aztecs Rock Hunger

Aztecs Rock Hunger - Welcome Back by Giving Back

The annual Aztecs Rock Hunger food drive runs from Oct. 22 through Nov. 14.

Led by Associated Students, ARH is hoping to raise 619,000 pounds of food — area code shout-out alert! — for the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank. The proceeds also provide the food, including fresh produce, that is distributed at the on-campus A.S. Food Pantry — an average 100,000 pounds of food each year.

Additionally, 20 percent of the monetary donations support the SDSU Economic Crisis Response Team, which supports SDSU students facing food and housing insecurity or other financial crises.

Aztec Nights

Wind Down Your Semester with Aztec Nights

The first semester back on campus is almost over! Make some lasting memories with your friends in November at the upcoming slate of Aztec Nights events.

Are you an art fan or a fan of the “great outdoors?” Join us on the ENS field Nov. 5 for ghost stories, sing-alongs and a "campfire" at the "Camp State" event or share your artistic creations at the North Library Walkway on Nov. 19 at the "Art After Dark" event. Prizes, food and fun will be offered into the wee hours at both events.

Re:Border 2021 third annual bi-national conference. A nuestra salud: Confronting public health and mental health. Challenges and solutions in our transborder region.

RE:BORDER 2021 “A NUESTRA SALUD” on Nov. 16-17

The theme of the third annual RE:BORDER 2021 on Nov. 16-17, is “A Nuestra Salud: Confronting Public Health and Mental Health Challenges and Solutions in Our Transborder Region.”

The two-day virtual conference, hosted by SDSU and CETYS Universidad, aims to foster and facilitate transborder diplomacy, cross-disciplinary relationships and binational collaboration/cooperation by increasing understanding about the assets as well as the pressing challenges facing our transborder region.

It does this through the sharing of stories, knowledge, research and experiences of scholars, professionals, politicians, artists, students and community members who comprise our transborder region.

Visit the Re:Border Conference website at https://re-border.sdsu.edu/ to register.
