Measles, Flu, Meningitis… What You Can Do
Flu season is in full swing and nearly 50 cases of measles have been diagnosed in California alone. So, what can you do to prevent these and other infections? If you haven't been vaccinated for influenza, measles, meningitis and other vaccine-preventable infections, it's not too late. Log into Student Health Services' HealtheConnect site and make a vaccination appointment, or call 619-594-4325.
Leadership Summit is Less Than a Month Away
The SDSU Leadership Summit 2015 is February 21. Attend workshops lead by professionals from a variety of fields and hear Thom McElroy, co-founder of Volcom, speak on leadership at this full-day conference at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union. For more information, or to register, visit the Leadership Summit website.
Aztec Nights are Back!
You have just two more Aztec Nights events to attend this spring! Don't miss out on movies and chocolate galore, mechanical bull riding, a dance party, photo booth madness with the Aztec men's basketball team and much more. This Friday and Saturday tons of fun with your classmates will be waiting for you. Aztec Nights is free for you and one guest with your Red ID. Don't miss out!
One SDSU Community – Campus Life Move Series
One SDSU Community gives Aztecs the opportunity to learn about themselves and the perspectives, experiences and heritage that make them unique, allowing them to connect with other students to learn about their journeys. One way that discovery happens is through watching great movies on compelling topics and then discussing them in groups after the show. Watch Invictus on February 5 at 6 pm and Iron-Jawed Angels on February 12 at 6 pm. Both movies will be shown in the Aztec Student Union Theatre.
Prep Before You Take That Test
Would you like to improve your test-taking potential to maximize test results? SDSU’s Test Prep courses will help you acquire important strategies, expectations, and content information about the following exams: CBEST, CSET, GMAT, GRE, and LSAT. Books and materials are included in the registration fee. Registration is available online at www.neverstoplearning.net/testprep, in person, or via phone at (619) 594-5152.
Start Your International Journey
On Tuesday, February 3, Centennial Walkway will turn into a hub for international education. At the Spring Study Abroad Fair, students interested in exploring their options to travel, study and/or live abroad can talk to SDSU’s experts as well as select independent providers. Whether you are thinking about a faculty-led or exchange program, travels to the other end of the world, or just south of the border for a couple of weeks — don’t miss this opportunity to start your international journey!
SDSU Aztec Proud: Students Helping Students
What’s your passion? February 26th is National Student Giving Day. You can help other students and put your passion into action by making a donation to SDSU! A gift of $10 or more to any campus cause with an existing account gets you an SDSU Aztec Proud T-shirt and helps other SDSU students in the area of your choice. Watch how it works (video) and meet the Alumni Association the student union from 12 to 2 pm, February 26. Decide, donate, and make a difference!
