To more closely reflect its inclusive mission and expanded programming in support of students with disabilities, SDSU’s Student Disability Services has been renamed the Student Ability Success Center (SASC). The center is now recruiting SASC Student Advocates to expand services and to also represent the center, which supports more than 1,500 students.

SDSU President Sally Roush is seeking nominations from faculty, student staff and alumni groups to assemble a special 17-member task force to explore the future of the Aztec mascot and moniker. Nominations must be received by Jan. 26, and the task force will be announced by Feb. 2.
The Aztec Mentor Program helps students grow their professional network, which can lead to internships and jobs – as was the case for SDSU’s Joey Lucero, whose mentor helped him get into the Disney College Program. AMP registration is open for the spring semester and students can now request a mentor online.
Jan. 26: Last day for faculty to drop students from classes.
Jan. 30: Last day to add/drop classes or change grading basis; also, the last day for payment of tuition and fees and to officially withdraw from the university without penalty fee.
Feb. 1: Applications for bachelor’s degree for December 2018 graduation accepted; also, applications for advanced degree for December 2018 graduation accepted.
