The Aztec men’s and women’s basketball teams are back.
The men return to the court a season removed from achieving the program’s highest AP poll ranking since 2010-11 and finishing the season ranked No. 6 when the season abruptly ended. The men’s team began the season receiving votes in the AP and USA Today Coaches pre-season polls.
The women’s program looks to improve from a 14-17 record in the 2019-20 season.
Both programs kicked off the 2020-21 seasons Thanksgiving week and are now scheduled – health protocols permitting – to begin Mountain West Conference play in late December. Find out where to watch and listen to games at goaztecs.com.

Are you a student with SDSU passion and pride that you want to share with others? The SDSU Ambassadors program might be up your alley.
The SDSU Ambassadors are a highly selective group of students who are specially trained to be the official SDSU student representatives, tour guides and orientation leaders.
The Ambassadors provide campus tours to prospective students and their families and work at New Student Orientation for freshmen, transfer students and their parents, as well as at other large on-campus events.
Information about spring recruitment, including the application and information session dates, will be posted to the New Student and Parent Programs website in January.
