Michael B. Hoctor Scholastic/Involvement Scholarship
Scholarship award amount: $500
Open to all majors and class levels
Recipients must be residing in the residence halls
February 10, 2017 application deadline
Scholarship details
To qualify, applicants must:
- Have a minimum 3.00 overall cumulative GPA
- Be an enrolled full-time undergraduate or graduate student
- Recipients must have completed at least 12 units
- Have lived on campus for at least one semester prior to application
- Submit a resume
- Submit two letters of recommendation: one from a full-time SDSU faculty member and one from a Housing Administration or Residential Education staff member
- Submit an unofficial transcript
- Submit a 500-word essay that will enable those making scholarship decisions to learn more about you. You may want to address what motivated you to declare your major, describe your future career goals, or provide any other information that would help reviewers make a well-informed decision when awarding the scholarship.
