Description: The primary purpose of the position is to assist the Director of Nursing in the day-to-day functions of the McColl Family Health Center nursing unit, and to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Department in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is provided to the residents at all times. Provide professional assistance to all residents and staff of St. Paul's Senior Homes and Services when not precluded by other duties.
The Clinical Care Coordinator (RN) assists in directing the activities and programs of the facilities, in consultation with the Director of Nursing. The Clinical Care Coordinator serves on various committees of the facility as directed by the Director of Nursing and as required by Federal, State, or Local regulations. Assists in evaluations and implements recommendations from the facility's committees and/or consultants. Committees might include the facility Safety Committee and corporate Safety Officers Committee, as well as the corporate Continuous Quality Assurance Committee.
