While SDSU and San Diego County Public Health Services offered clinics to provide Cipro (ciprofloxacin) to students in early September, all undergraduate students ages 23 and younger are highly encouraged to receive the meningococcal B (MenB) vaccine. Join other SDSU students in making a difference in your community. Aztecs Rock Hunger, which raised over 588,000 pounds of food last year, returns with a new goal of 700,000 pounds during its food drive that runs through Oct. 21. Donations aid the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank, with 20 percent of monetary donations assisting SDSU students facing food insecurity through the Economic Crisis Response Team. A single dollar is the equivalent of six pounds of food.
Join Dance Marathon at SDSU for Miracle Week from Oct. 29 - Nov. 2. The group raised over $243,000 last year for Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. Come to one of the upcoming tabling events to learn how you can get involved in changing the lives of these young patients and their families. The Dance Marathon is about giving back to the community while having an incredible night among friends!
