Celebrate GreenFest 2013!

GreenFest, the weeklong celebration of sustainability and Aztec pride, returns March 18 through 21. The week includes educational events, entertainment and team competitions, including:

Monday, March 18

  • 10 a.m., Bike Brunch, south end of Campanile Walkway
  • 3 p.m., Boat Challenge, Aztec Aquaplex

Tuesday, March 19

  • Noon, Sustain Your Roots Festival, Campanile Walkway
  • 1 p.m., Aztec Chef Competition, north end of Campanile Walkway
  • 7 p.m., Fashion & Music Awards, Aztec Green

Wednesday, March 20

  • Noon, Green Lunch Bag Series, Scripps Cottage
  • 6 p.m., Keynote speaker, Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center

Thursday, March 21

  • 10 a.m., SDSU Farmers Market, Campanile Walkway
  • 7 p.m., 2013 GreenFest Concert featuring Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Open Air Theatre

GreenFest, presented by Associated Students of SDSU and the SDSU Enviro-Business Society, is a week of events that encourage, celebrate and advocate for sustainability, Aztec pride and diversity.

The purpose of GreenFest is to engage the campus community through social and interactive programs in an effort to educate them on the important of living a sustainable lifestyle and to promote sustainable practices.
