@State Jan.-Feb. 2014 - Student Succes Fee

Proposed Student Success Fee to be Detailed in Public Forums

A proposed Student Success Fee is under consideration this spring. If the fee is approved, the university will use the money to hire additional tenure-track faculty, thus increasing the number of course sections offered each semester. The number of faculty hired and the number of classes added will depend on the fee amount.

The proposed fee level, which could be between $200 and $500 per semester, will be determined through a series of public forums and consultations with interested, regularly-enrolled SDSU students. The public forums are slated to take place on-campus at a variety of times between Monday, Feb. 3, and Friday, Feb. 21. Students must bring their Red ID to the forum they attend.

For a complete listing of the forum times and locations, as well as additional information on the fee,  visit the Student Success Fee website. For questions not answered by the website or in the forums, students can email [email protected].
