Aztec Nights and Aztec Student Union Events Electrify the Spring Semester

The first two weeks of school will be packed with events at the new Aztec Student Union thanks to Aztec Nights and the Welcome Home events planned for students returning to campus.
“Students may be apprehensive to reach out and talk to someone they don’t know, but so many people are open to talking and meeting someone new,” said Mariah Kelly, vice president of financial affairs for Associated Students. Kelly encouraged all students to attend the fun and free events planned for the spring.
With at least 1,500 students attending each Aztec Nights event Kelly said every student is bound to meet someone who could become a great friend. With the events being open to all students with a valid Red ID, they are a great way for students to enjoy the beginning of the semester in a safe, fun environment.
