Midnight Study Break - The Final Finish

The end of the semester is in your sights, all that’s left in the race to winter break is your last exams. Get ready for those tests at “The Final Finish” Midnight Study Break.

On Thursday, Dec. 11, free breakfast, study tips and giveaways will get your motor running to ace those finals! Zoom by Montezuma Hall between 9 pm and midnight and get the fuel you need to boost your chances of finishing finals in the top spot.

Although the academic semester is drawing to a close, winter athletics are still going strong! The SDSU football team will be making its fifth straight bowl appearance, the women’s basketball team will battle UC Santa Barbara and the University of Washington in its next two home games and the nationally-ranked men’s basketball team will be playing games all through the winter. And where else but San Diego could you enjoy an outdoor swim meet in December? Check out the women’s swim team at their next meet in the Aquaplex on December 29. World AIDS Day Movie Marathon

Join One SDSU Community for a series of movies shown in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union in association with World AIDS Day. On Monday, Dec. 1 at 7 pm, watch Dallas Buyers Club.  On Dec. 2 at 5pm, catch a double feature of How to Survive a Plague and The Normal Heart. And on Wednesday, Dec. 3, see Life Support starring Queen Latifah.

Let Freedom Ring: Join the SDSU Contingent at the MLK Parade

Celebrate the immeasurable contributions of Martin Luther King, Jr. at the city’s annual parade along the Embarcadero in downtown San Diego on January 18.  Again in 2015, SDSU students, faculty and staff and their families are invited to be part of the campus’ parade contingent.
