Fallbrook, Calif.-native Alejandro Arias, a food and nutrition major, was named the 2017 Trustee Emeritus Ali C. Razi Scholar, an award that includes $12,000 in funding. Arias supports students through SDSU’s SOAR Mentor Program.
SDSU celebrated its global diversity at the 61st International Peace Village on Nov. 16 at Montezuma Hall. Students shared their international cultures through song, dance and displays.
