Our center is the first of its kind to be located in San Diego/North County. CAC’s Center Based ABA Programs are specifically designed with each child’s needs in mind. At CAC, we work with parents to specialize the program to incorporate all aspects of life including behaviors, language, daily living skills, and more. ABA treatment is provided with a 1:1 staff to child ratio with small group social/play opportunities.
Description: The Behavior Therapist at CAC provide one-to-one behaviorally based treatment to young children with autism in their homes and at school. We provide our staff with a structured curriculum to teach each child. In addition, we provide all staff with a comprehensive, paid, initial training program (40hours) with instruction in autism, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), teaching strategies, and behavior management. The training consists of one week of in-class training by Senior Level Supervisors with Comprehensive Autism Center, followed by one week of overlaps in the field. Once training is completed, our employees are eligible to apply for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
