Brand Ambassador / Marketing Internship
MIXR LLC

Wage: $18/hour

Deadline: Sept. 1, 9 a.m. PDT

Description: MIXR Beverages is a San Diego-based beverage brand. MIXR is currently seeking motivated college students to help promote brand growth on and off campus. Responsibilities will include coordinating brand content shoots, setting up promotional events, tabling, product giveaways, etc.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be 21 or older as most of the events will be at 21-plus venues.

Hours will be flexible and will take place mainly on weekends. It will only be a few hours at a time, with longer hours on weekends with events. You will be paid for your time with positions starting at $18 an hour.

Employer Profile:

MIXR is a new beverage brand based in San Diego. MIXR was developed to provide consumers with healthy soda alternatives to be used as cocktail mixers and shot chasers. The MIXR beverage line combines bold flavor with zero sugar, zero calories and added electrolytes.

Sales/Marketing Intern (Biotechnology)

Description: Eclipse Bioinnovations is looking for an enthusiastic sales and marketing intern to join our biotechnology startup and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing both sales and marketing strategies.

As an intern, you will collaborate with our sales and marketing team in all stages of the sales process and marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our business growth.

This internship will help you acquire sales experience and marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in sales and marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Perform market analysis and research on competition
  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)

Recreation Program Internship
City of San Diego

Student-Athlete Academic Tutor (Virtual for Fall 2021)

Wage: $15/hour

Description: Student-Athlete Academic Support Services hires qualified tutors to meet with student-athletes in a virtual setting and assist them in a wide variety of subject areas. Tutors must be able to effectively support student-athletes via a virtual platform. Tutors are expected to help student-athletes understand assignments, work through problems and improve their study skills. Tutoring is not a replacement for classroom instruction; rather, it serves as a supplement that will help student-athletes succeed in their coursework.

This position is part time and is expected to remain virtual for the duration of the fall 2021 semester. Tutors can expect to work between five to 20 hours per week, depending on availability and tutoring demand.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge base in one or more specific subject areas
  • B or better in the class(es) for which the student-athlete is being tutored or a demonstrated proficiency in the course material
  • Personable, understanding and patient
  • Ability to work with diverse populations of learners at various skill levels
  • Understanding of and commitment to academic integrity
  • Flexible schedule and able to work evenings
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience (preferred)
  • At least 30 college units earned (preferred)
