Students Elect New A.S. Reps

SDSU students elected a new group of executives and representatives in the Associated Students elections, held March 11 – 14.

New Associated Students Executives

AS officers Javier, Morgan, Mariah, Josh, and Becca

New A.S. executives, who will be sworn in during the A.S. Council meeting on May 1, include:

  • Josh Morse, president
  • Becca Cohen, executive vice president
  • Javier Gomez, vice president of external affairs
  • Mariah Kelly, vice president of financial affairs
  • Morgan Chan, vice president of university affairs

More than 30 student representatives were elected to the University Council and the Campus Life Council, both new as part of the Associated Students restructure that will be implemented in 2013-14.

More than 5,100 students cast ballots in this year’s elections, more than 18 percent of the student body and the highest voter turnout in recent memory.
