Aztecs Basketball coach cutting the net

Thank you to Aztec Men's Basketball

SDSU basketball’s historic season came to an abrupt conclusion with the cancellation of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, but the memories of the magical 30-2 season will live forever.

The team was the first SDSU basketball team to be the nation’s last undefeated team, Kawhi Leonard’s jersey was retired during a raucous come-back win and the program captured its seventh Mountain West Conference regular-season title.

Aztec Basketball post-season awards keep rolling in. Congratulations to Head Coach Brian Dutcher on being named the USA Today Coach of the Year and to junior guard Malachi Flynn, who was named to nine All-American first or second teams, including the Sports Illustrated All-American first team and the Associated Press second team.

Shout-outs also go to the spring sports teams and clubs whose seasons were cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. We look forward to seeing you back in action.
