Just days after taking their last finals, many Aztecs are already gearing up for their next classes. The first summer session officially gets under way Monday, May 23 and a second session starts in July.

The university is offering hundreds of summer classes and is putting a special focus on classes that are difficult to get into during the regular semester, as well as general education requirements, all in an effort to help students get ahead.

Taking just one summer session course can put students on track to graduate on time or leave room in their schedule for a valuable internship, a study abroad experience or participation in a student organization next year.

To make the summer session even more attractive and provide better opportunities for student success, SDSU has temporarily reduced the basic tuition fees for this summer for undergraduate students. The first three units for undergraduates cost more than $300 less than last year.

SDSU is offering two six-week sessions and a 13-week session, including more than 130 online courses that allow students to complete their work from the comfort of their home.
