Aztec for Life 5k

7:15 am – 10:30 am, Qualcomm Stadium

San Diego State and Kaiser Permanente have teamed to put on the Kaiser Permanente Aztec for Life 5K. Students who are currently enrolled can participate for $15. All participants will receive an SDSU t-shirt and a finisher’s medal.

Alice Training

Noon – 3 pm, Park Boulevard - Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union

Learn ways to respond and stay safe in an active shooter situation.

Live Well Aztecs Festival

Noon – 3 pm, Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union, Courtyard

Live Well Aztecs Festival is an interactive event with music, games, a photo booth, prizes, and campus resources. Connect with opportunities and resources to enhance your well-being and help you stay safe as an SDSU student.


5 - 8 pm, Aztec Recreation Center

Kick off the school year with Aztec Recreation! Check out the action at the Cal Coast Credit Union Slam Dunk Contest, test your skills with the free throw competition or take on our fitness challenge. Explore how to connect and stay active at the information fair and activites with great prizes. Learn about Intramural Sports leagues, Aztec Adventure outdoor programs, ENS activity credit classes, Group Fitness classes, swimming programs, bowling on campus, watersports classes and 20 Sport Club teams as well as the many job opportunities with Aztec Recreation. Come meet new friends and enjoy free pizza and Shake Smart smoothies.

Screen on the Green

9:30 pm – Midnight, Aztec Green (located by the SDSU Trolley)

Be our guest! Bring a blanket and enjoy snacks while you watch Disney’s hit film Beauty and the Beast on the big screen. You won’t want to miss this tale as old as time!
