CPA Formal Recruitment Fall 2018

Fully-completed registration is required PRIOR to being eligible to participate in any formal recruitment events listed below. Full registration includes the completion of all five of the following components:
Registration for CPA Formal Recruitment will open on June 1, 2018. and close on August 28, 2018 at 11:59pm. All five of the components listed above must be completed no later than 11:59pm on August 28, 2018 to be eligible to participate in Fall Formal Recruitment.

CPA Membership Eligibility and Recruitment Registration
Membership Eligibility
According to the NPC, an individual who is or who has ever been an initiated member of an existing NPC sorority shall not be eligible for membership in another NPC sorority.
Additionally, make sure to review the eligibility requirements listed on the Go Greek! How to Join webpage. The CPA website is another helpful resource when considering eligibility requirements.
Formal Recruitment Registration
Registration opens on the first day of New Student Orientation.
Step 1: Pre-Recruitment Education Program
Prospective members interested in joining the CPA community should complete the online Pre-Recruitment Education Program BEFORE participating in any recruitment events. Click here to complete PREP!
Step 2: ICS Registration
Registration opens on June 1, 2018 and closes at 11:59pm on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Click here to register!
Step 3: Registration Payment
Early-bird Fee: $60 (June 1-August 1)
Regular Fee: $90 (August 2-August 28)
Step 4: Alcohol e-Check Up To Go
All incoming students (first year and transfers) must complete the Alcohol e-Checkup to Go program before they register for spring classes. However, students who are participating in CPA Formal Recruitment must complete this prior to participating in recruitment. Returning students are encouraged to complete the assessment even if they have completed it in the past.
Step 5: Marijuana e-Check Up to Go
All students registering for CPA Formal Recruitment must complete the Marijuana e-Checkup to Go.

Continuous Open Bidding Process
Prospective members interested in joining the CPA community through the Continuous Open Bidding (COB) process should complete the online Pre-Recruitment Education Program BEFORE participating in any recruitment events. Click here to complete PREP! This is the only step to registering for COB.
If a CPA chapter is eligible they may extend bids (invitations to join) to eligible potential new members after the conclusion of the formal recruitment period and only during the fall and spring academic semesters. Continuous Open Bidding may not occur during the summer academic term or during any University recess. For more information about chapters participating in open bidding, please contact the CPA Vice President of Membership at membership.cpa.sdsu@gmailcom.
