Academic Advising and Support

Disability-related advising is provided to registered SDS students.  Students are encouraged to visit with their assigned SDS Counselor early in the semester, or as soon as a problem arises, to address any issues that may impact academic performance.

For general academic advising and SDSU graduation requirements, it is recommended that students contact the Academic Advising Center at 619-594-6668. For specific questions related to requirements in the major, it is recommended that students contact their major advisor.

Requesting Service

In order to receiving disability-related advising from an SDS Counselor, registered students can make an appointment for a future date by calling 619-594-6473.  For same-day appointments with designated SDS Counselor, please visit the same-day schedule and call 619-594-6473 to reserve a time.
