    Class Registration

When you attend New Student Orientation and take care of the steps below, you will be able to register for classes at the end of the Orientation Program.

Note: If you do not attend an orientation, you will have to wait until the regular registration period begins. This will be after all transfer students who attended orientation have registered.

In order to register for classes, you MUST complete the following steps:

    1. Pay the full amount of your course registration fees two weeks prior to attending orientation in order to have your fees processed on time. If you pay online, your fees will be processed by the next business day. You MUST pay your fees on time or you will not be able to register for classes at orientation.
      (See the fee schedules)

    2. You MUST clear any holds indicated on the "My Registration" page located in your SDSU WebPortal. It can take up to 48 hours to clear some holds. Please plan accordingly or you will not be able to register for your classes at orientation.

Plan ahead so you can register on time. Your registration date/time will change after you complete the orientation program. (Please note: until the date of your orientation, your web portal will reflect a later registration date.)

The Fall 2017 class schedule is available online.
