How to get an ISC mentor

Peer Mentor Program

International students who come to SDSU often face unique challenges from being in a new and unfamiliar environment. This can impact a new student's social or academic adjustment.

You can select a SDSU peer mentor student who understands these issues and can help you during this period of adjustment.

Required 1:1 Advising Session

All international freshmen are required to meet with an ISC advisor at the beginning of the semester. The advising sessions are intended to support your transition to SDSU and to help you familiarize yourself with campus culture, resources, policies, procedures, and student life opportunities.
