Event Co-Sponsorship

If you are interested in having an event co-sponsored by the Center for Intercultural Relation (including reserving our Center space) please submit our Co-Sponsorship Form. Complete the entire form and be as thorough as possible. You must submit form at least 3 weeks in advance for consideration.

Supporting Documents
After submitting this form please email a copy of your budget to interculturalrelations@mail.sdsu.edu. Your budget should include a breakdown of all expenses, plus where additional funding, if any, is coming from.

Non-allowable costs include: reimbursements for organizations or individuals, food, t-shirts, balloons, gift cards, photography, prizes & trophies.

The Process
Once your application and budget have been submitted to the Center for Intercultural Relations, you will receive an email within 3 business days to set-up an appointment. During the appointment you will be asked to explain your proposal and outreach efforts for the event. Within a week after your meeting with the Center for Intercultural Relations staff you will be informed if your co-sponsored event is approved or denied.

 

Room Reservations

The Center for Intercultural Relations is available for meetings, speaker engagements, discussions, performances, rehearsals, and/or receptions.

If you are interested in making a room reservation, please contact us via email at interculturalrelations@mail.sdsu.edu or in person to check for availability. You must submit your request at least 3 weeks in advance for consideration. Note that submitting a room request is NOT a confirmation. You will receive notification via e-mail if your request has been confirmed.

Additionally, you must submit your event through the Event Approval System (EAS)  THREE (3) WEEKS PRIOR to your event in order to secure a room reservation.
