Employer Profile: Student Disability Services is the campus office responsible for determining and providing academic accommodations for students with documented disabilities. Support services are available to students with certified visual limitations, hearing and communication impairments, learning disabilities, and mobility and other functional limitations. The program currently serves about 1050 students, which includes undergraduate and graduate students.

Description: Test Proctors are hired by Student Disability Services (SDS) to administer tests to students with disabilities in lieu of the instructor so that appropriate accommodations can be allowed. This is necessary to make sure students with disabilities receive an equal access to education.

Employer Profile: Founded in 1974 as the Central Deaf Association, Deaf Community Services of San Diego, Inc. is the only nonprofit agency in San Diego that serves deaf, hard-of-hearing, and late-deafened children and adults. Our skilled and knowledgeable staff works with clients one-on-one to overcome communication barriers, improve functioning and life skills, and educate the public. Description: The e5 Recreation Leader is responsible for the safety, supervision and engagement of Elementary, Middle, and/or High School aged youth. Under the guidance of the Youth and Family Services Coordinator, the e5 Recreational Leader is responsible for implementing the e5 program and curriculum for youth in the after school program. This position follows the school year calendar.

Description: The project assistant is responsible for assisting in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of the assigned project. They will also assist in project coordination with staff, students and the community. They will provide liaison with community groups to encourage understanding, cooperation, participation and support of project objectives. They will also assist in the development, preparation, assembly, and distribution of informational materials. As well as perform research, compile data and prepare technical and/or statistical reports. The assistant will also prepare correspondence and other materials. Design, develop, and maintain specialized database(s); maintain complex recordkeeping systems. Maintain calendars; schedule and confirm appointments.
