About Hausmann Quartet
Hausmann Quartet has been praised for “performing with energy and passion.” In 2009, the quartet was invited to participate as Shouse Artists in the 2009 Great Lakes Festival and was awarded a fellowship for Aspen Music Festival’s Center for Advanced Quartet Studies.
“This is a hugely talented combo whose marvelously rich tone and blending could hardly be surpassed by most of the professional groups in concert today.” (San Mateo Journal)
With a strong commitment to community engagement, Hausmann Quartet has collaborated with organizations such as Classical Revolution in San Francisco, International Music Foundation in Chicago and the La Jolla Music Society to present performances in venues beyond the traditional concert hall.
