The atED (Aspiring Teachers and Education Leaders) Peer Advisor program is a comprehensive program which focuses on developing its peer advisors as agents of change and leaders for our institution and our community. Our program will not only provide the right tools to our peer advisors in order to be successful in one-on-one interactions but will also equip them with learning experiences, personal development opportunities, a mentorship component, and an array of leadership and interpersonal skills.

Our atED Peer Advisor Program is intended to promote the College of Education’s teacher preparation programs by assisting individuals interested in becoming a teacher or an education leader in finding the appropriate information and resources to pursue their career. Guided by our mission and values, peer advisors have one-on-one meetings with prospective students and members of our community to assist them in the application and admission processes. Peer advisors also provide information about the credentialing process and how to fulfill the requirements to be admitted into a San Diego State credential program.
