Our Mission

The mission of The SDSU Literacy Center is to facilitate literacy experiences that empower K-12 students and educators. We strive to impact individuals’ abilities to READ, WRITE, and RISE to their full potential.

Upcoming Events/Deadlines

  • Our Spring 2019 programs include one-on-one and small-group sessions of the COMMUNITY READING CLINIC, which will run from February 19 - May 2 on Tuesdays OR Thursdays. Please note: A very limited number of one-on-one sessions are available at the Community Reading Clinic, due to clinician/tutor availability.
  • Letters of acceptance into one of our programs will go out by February 8th.
  • Due to SDSU's spring break, we will not hold any sessions and will be closed on Tuesday, April 2nd and Thursday, April 4th. Additionally, students admitted to small groups will not have sessions on Tuesday, March 26th so that instructors can prepare their materials for certification.
