The Graduate Record Exam (GRE)

All students applying to a graduate degree at SDSU must take the Revised General GRE exam.

GRE scores must be sent directly from Educational Testing Services (ETS) using SDSU’s Institution Code 4682. Please note the university requires that all sections (verbal, quantitative, analytical writing) of the GRE be completed.

To register for the exam contact one of the following three:

A computer based version of the exam is offered Monday through Saturday.

GRE scores may be waived for those who hold a master's from an accredited university. Check with Graduate Admissions
