Armando Leon Named 2015 Teacher-of-the-Year

Congratulations to College of Education alumnus Armando Leon! Armando completed his B.A. in Social Science followed by the Bilingual Single Subject Credential and Masters in Education programs at SDSU.

Alumna Selected as Cuyamaca College President

Julianna Barnes has been selected as the new president of Cuyamaca College. Barnes is a graduate of the Community Based Block master's program and Community College Leadership doctoral program.

Minority Male Collaborative on C-SPAN

The work of SDSU's Dr. Frank Harris III and Dr. J. Luke Wood was acknowledged on C-SPAN after it picked up a U.S. Commission on Civil Rights discussion about access to higher education for minority students.

Linked Learning Goes to Washington

Associate Dean Nancy Farnan was part of a delegation that met with legislators to help them understand the benefits of Linked Learning as Congress considers reauthorizing the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
