Guest Admission Tickets
Candidates whose applications are approved for graduation will receive complimentary guest tickets for their commencement ceremony at Viejas Arena. Guest tickets are required for all guests ages one (1) year of age and older. Tickets will be distributed during GradFest in Montezuma Hall at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union, March 24-26, from 9:30 a.m.-7p.m.

SDSU RedID card or a valid, government-issued picture ID is required to obtain tickets.
Ceremony Ticket Allotment
The ticket allotment for each ceremony will be posted in February.
Post-GradFest Ticket Distribution
Beginning Friday, March 27, students who did not claim tickets at GradFest can obtain them at the Viejas Arena Ticket Office.
If a student does not claim tickets by 4 p.m. on Friday, May 8, the Ticket Office cannot guarantee a full allotment of commencement tickets.
Beginning Monday, May 11, the Ticket Office will distribute remaining tickets, if any are available, to any SDSU student with a valid RedID. These tickets will be distributed two-at-a-time on a first-come, first-served basis.
Proxy Ticket Distribution
Beginning at GradFest, March 24-26, and at the Ticket Office, March 27 through May 8, a friend or relative may claim tickets for graduating students who still live in San Diego but cannot come to the university to pick up their tickets.
The friend/relative must present a document with the graduating student’s RedID number and the name of the college from which the students is graduating. The document must also state that the friend or relative is authorized to pick up the student's guest tickets.
Proxy ticket distribution will not be allowed during the additional ticket distribution date on Monday, May 11. On that date, additional tickets will only be given out to SDSU students who present a valid RedID.
