There will be a limited number of wheelchairs available for guests to use at no charge. Wheelchairs will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the Viejas Arena meeting center (small building immediately west of Viejas Arena main entrance). To check out a wheelchair you will need a valid ID. Wheelchairs are not to leave the campus and must be returned within one hour after the conclusion of the ceremony.
Any guests using a wheelchair will need to have a specific ticket in order to accommodate their seating needs.
Candidates or guests with SDSU or State of California disabled parking permits may park in any legal stall on campus.
The Department of Public Safety recommends that disabled patrons park in the following areas on the west side of campus:
A courtesy shuttle is available to pick up guests at specified locations around campus. Please arrive early, as the shuttle buses take approximately 10 minutes from the furthest location from Viejas Arena. The Department of Public Safety recommends that disabled patrons use the following shuttle sites:
Please consult the campus map to locate shuttle sites.
Alternative parking is available in Parking Structure 4 level 8 (use the pedestrian bridge to Viejas Arena) and Parking Structure 5; however, shuttle service is not available from these two areas.
